Katara's gone home. Her communicator is offline.

[He shuts the feed of after that. He's going to go curl up on Appa's fur.]

I didn't know her very well here, but I liked her a lot. She was always kind to everyone.

Okay. That sounds like something nice to do. I'd draw it really nicely, too.

Yeah, she was always nice to people. She was one of my first friends when I woke up.

[When Aang started his journey. Like Ami-chan or Rei-chan for her, the first senshi found as her comrades. Sokka must be sad, too. His sister. He must feel like she did losing Chibi-Usa.]

You must have done a lot of things together back then.

Yeah. We went all over, doing different things and getting into all sorts of adventures.

It was sort of like that with me and my friends back home, too. We came together so we could face all those things together.

You must miss them all, too.

I do. But I'll see them again some day. I have to look forward to that.

[So much easier to say than live by.]

Yeah, we just have to remember that.

Don't let yourself forget it. If you give up, you'll really start to lose them.

Some friends of mine. They were called the Star Lights.

Star Lights? What are they like?

They were wonderful people. They helped us a lot. They fought alongside us sometimes. We didn't understand each other very well at first, but eventually we were able to.

That must be really nice. To meet someone you don't understand and to understand them finally.

It was. I wonder how they're doing right now. I bet they're working hard and making their home beautiful.

Where's their home?

I don't know exactly where it is. I'm not good with maps and things. But it was pretty far away from me.

[It's not her secret to tell; if they appeared here, they might not want it known. And it's true she'd have no chance of finding Kinmoku without help... ever.]

Wow. Sort of like the northern and southern water tribes, huh? [Yup, he's picturing across the world differences.] I'd like to meet them someday... just not here.

Something like that. It was really lucky we were able to meet at all, but I'm very glad we did. I was sad when they had to go back home. I miss being with them.

Maybe you'll see them again someday.

I like to think we'll meet again.
