Because I'm the Avatar. It's not so much me as it is the spirit of the world being reincarnated. So it just takes the knowledge and experiences of the last Avatar with it.

Um... [He's... not really sure. When he meditates, he can talk to any of them, so maybe his mind? Or part of his chi? Hmm..] I think I'll go, too. I can talk to any of the past Avatars because they're part of me.

[He grins sheepishly.] I sort of have to figure it out as I go because there wasn't anyone to teach me.
