011 § Offline/Video § Aang is Alive!

[He uses airbending to pull his PCD over and frowns at it. Whoever killed him will see that he's alive. He doesn't want that. Of all the ways for an Airbender to die, he never even thought of lack of air. And even when he'd been at the risk of drowning, he'd gone into the Avatar state without realizing it.]
[He's not going to hide, as much as he might want to.]

010 § Video § Fur Trading!
Jul. 19th, 2011 08:36 pm[The feed opens to a much happier Aang. Appa is behind him looking extremely well brushed. This is what Aang has been doing for most of this event.]
Appa sheds. A lot! And Sokka gave me a good idea! It makes great pillows! I've made a couple and I can make some more if anyone wants to trade something for them!
And if anyone has any wool left from the rainbow sheep and wants to trade, I'd like to get some. A lot! [He grins. There's got to be people who still have the colors they didn't like!] I'm gonna make an Appa bed out of it!

008 § Video/Offline § A House For Appa
Jul. 6th, 2011 08:16 pm[The feed comes on and there's a rather good sized pile of junk around Aang. Some rocks and stones and bricks from broken walls, some bits of wood and metal, and a bucket from the mom and pop shop Reno talked about that has some nails and hammers and things.]
Now that the water's gone, I'm gonna make a house for Appa! It's gonna be sorta made of everything, but it'll work!
If anyone wants to help me, they can! Or they can just come by and hang out!

007 § Accidental Video § Appa
Jun. 23rd, 2011 12:08 pm[When the feed first comes on, all that can be heard are Appa's annoyed bison bleats. He's sick of the rain, sick of the water, sick of his grass being drowned.]
I know, I know!
[The PCD is a bit away from them, carefully tucked into Aang's shirt, which he's tied up on a low branch to keep the PCD as dry as he can.]
[Aang studies the area Appa stays in and earthbends an Appa-sized square of it a bit above the water level.He thinks for a moment and earthbends two more segments up, at angles to make a sort of earthen tent. He knows it won't last until Sunday, but it'll work for now!]
[Appa bleats at him, annoyed, but gets into his little tent. And then bleats at him again. He's still soaked here!]
Yeah, I know!
[Aang hops up into Appa's little tent and thinks for a minute. Appa's probably chilly, too! He makes an airball in his hands and works at it with firebending. It bursts into a pretty whoosh of fire and he tries again. Once he's gotten so the air is nicely warm but not going whoosh into fire, he expands it and throws it at Appa. It takes a few minutes to get the very soaked skybison dry and warm but it works!]
[He hops down and fetches his shirt and the PCD without realizing it's on and goes back to sitting with Appa.]
At least it's not like the storm we almost drowned in!
[Appa gives him another annoyed bleat. Stupid rain.]

[The feed comes on at an odd angle and a wonderful view of the lake... and the Avatar swimming out into it. He gets out a ways and looks around before diving down. He comes up and repeats this a few times before he doesn't come up as quickly.
A couple bubbles come up to the surface and still no Aang.
A rather large tentacle breaks the surface, flailing about to get the boy off of it. Aang's joyful shouts can be heard for a bit before he loses his grasp and goes flying. He twists in mid-air and lands softly enough thanks to Airbending. Somehow, Squid-tan seems less amused by the boy and the tentacle vanishes under water again.]
That was awesome!! Thanks for the ride!
[He's so going to get eaten by something someday.]

May. 18th, 2011 10:03 amIt's too bad the music is gone. I know it annoyed people and it was kinda hard to sleep through, but it was fun! But a good thing! [And he's pressing buttons on the PCD and gets an entry to play, playing someone's music. He grins big.] Some of these have spots with no talking so I can still listen to the music! [Pity his housemates.]
Hey, does anyone play anything? I can play the tsungi horn. I'm not very good, but I can! If other people can and we can find instruments, we could play together sometime!

[Aang doesn't even seem to realize the feed is on for a while. He's in Appa's saddle and Appa's fur is moving in the wind enough to show that they're in the air somewhere. He's not happy, not bouncy; he's very somber. He killed Ozai in the final fight. He had said again and again that he would find another way, and the Lion-Turtle had SHOWN him another way... and then he'd failed in that moment and Ozai was dead. And now, Aang has to live with the guilt of what he's done.]

Mar. 29th, 2011 09:06 am[When the feed comes on, there's part of a face filling the screen... A big, white, furry face. Appa sniffs at the PCD and noses it aside. He wants the grass, not weird smelling things. He keeps nosing it aside as he goes.
A sleepy voice comes from a bit away. Aang had been asleep in Appa's saddle.] Are we there already?
[Appa makes a noise. It's a little uncertain and he noses the PCD again. After a moment, the camera shifts as it's picked up. Aang's face comes into view... upside down.] What'd you find? [He looks around. Surely, whatever this thing is belongs to someone who's probably still around.] Appa... where are we?

Ozai's fire overwhelms Aang's stone sphere with a charged fire bomb, and causes Aang to nearly lose consciousness from the heat. Ozai charges up an attack and destroys the sphere, causing Aang to hit the scar on his back against a jagged rock. Ozai approaches Aang to finish him off, but Aang's glowing hand reaches out and grabs him by the beard. Aang emerges from the rubble in the Avatar State and easily shrugs off Ozai's counter attack, blasting him against a rock with a powerful gust of air. Ozai watches as Aang ascends into the sky and calls forth the elements, air, fire, earth, and finally water, which revolve in rings around Aang.
Aang, possessed by the Avatar State, charges at Ozai and knocks him into the sky, but Ozai recovers before Aang can get to him again. Ozai flees by using Firebending to propel himself at great speeds as Aang chases after him. Aang Earthbends small fragments of rock to shoot at him like bullets, though Ozai barely manages to evade them all and continues fleeing
Aang, still controlled by the Avatar State, continues to pursue the Phoenix King and tries to crush him between two stone pillars with Earthbending, but Ozai manages to stop himself in time. Ozai tries to counterattack, but his attempts continuously fail against the unbelievable power of all the past Avatars. Aang catches him with Waterbending and subdues him with by Earthbending shackles onto his arms and legs. Aang then states with the voices of all the previous Avatars that Ozai and his forefathers have devastated the balance of the world, and he must now pay the ultimate price: death. The possessed Aang proceeds to deliver the final blow, a combination of all four elements into one attack, but at the last instant Aang regains control over himself and leaves the Avatar State. What if Aang was a few seconds later in regaining control?
Instead of stopping himself before he killed Ozai, the Avatar ended Ozai’s life. Grief over breaking his own spiritual code gave Aang the ability to control the Avatar state and become a fully realized Avatar. The war ended, but things were different for Aang. Consumed with guilt, he left the others to start rebuilding the Southern Air Temple. He spends most days in meditation, trying to overcome the guilt of what he couldn’t stop himself from doing, leaving the Air Temple only if someone needs him.
Changes to his personality:
Aang is less joyful and a lot more withdrawn. He had another way to stop Ozai, but he hadn’t been able to do it. He will not be going out of his way to talk to anyone and will probably go somewhere to be alone, but he’ll be very easy to find, given how huge Appa is.
